Review of ACDsee Pro 3-

• I was disappointed that the Pro3 can't read my Canon 600D RAW files. Although the site has got an update for RAW formats, 600D RAW are not supported. When contacted, ACDsee support staff encouraged me to upgrade to Pro5 in order to read the 600D RAW files.

I have since then removed ACDsee from this site and would not encourage it as users have to keep on upgrading in order to view new RAW formats.

An alternative freeware/shareware that is fast and compact and reads Caonon 600D RAW is:

FastStone Image Viewer 4.6 Freeware (Last Update: 2011-06-29)

An image browser, converter and editor that supports all major graphic formats including BMP, JPEG, JPEG 2000, GIF, PNG, PCX, TIFF, WMF, ICO, TGA and camera raw files. It has a nice array of features such as image viewing, management, comparison, red-eye removal, emailing, resizing, cropping, color adjustments, musical slideshow and much more.
